Two local high school homecoming queens have been selected finalists for Ohio’s 34th Annual Homecoming Queen selection to be held April 13, 2014 at the Dayton Marriott in Dayton, Ohio.

Miss Ashley Nicole Trouten, daughter of Carol and Tony Trouten of Martins Ferry, was chosen. She is the Buckeye Local High School Homecoming Queen.

Also chosen was Miss Jodi Renee Klempa, daughter of Orphy Klempa, Jr. of Shadyside and Heidi French of Martins Ferry. She is the Bellaire High School Homecoming Queen.

Ohio’s 2014 Homecoming Queen will receive a cash scholarship plus an all expense paid trip to the National Finals to compete with queens from other states for America’s Homecoming Queen.
