Wheeling Central Catholic High School to present Godspell

Wheeling Central Catholic High School will present GODSPELL May 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Wheeling Central Catholic Great Hall.

A community of 14 energetic and dedicated Central students will share their faith and spirituality as they bring the Gospel according to Matthew to life through humor, drama and contemporary music in the musical Godspell.

The show centers on a group of followers who are called to gather together to create a community following a very loving and knowledgeable teacher.

The Cast: Nate Foster as Jesus, Daniel Callahan as John the Baptist/Judas. The ensemble cast is comprised of Lexie Kosanovic, Ryan Bartsch, Kevin Stryker, Erin O’Leary, Julie Schuetz , Chelsea Contino, Stephanie Fike, Hannah Dieffenbaugher, Samuel Callahan, Lucy Hartzell, Kevin Hasenauer, and Collin Spangler.

Production Staff: Mr. Dave Henderson, director; Mr. Erik R. Waugh, music director; Scott Wolodkin, rehearsal accompanist; Erin Sheplavy, choreographer; and John Erwin, Joey Main, and Jonathan Howard, lighting and sound.

Musicians include: Mr. Erik R. Waugh, conductor; Scott Wolodkin, principal keyboard, George Melhorn, keyboard; Micheal Sebulsky, guitar; and Sal Crano; percussion.

GODSPELL is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
