Kenzora graduates from Ohio State
Kara N. Kenzora graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University on May 4, 2014. Kenzora also graduated with a minor in Design and a minor in Creative Writing. She was the President of the Engineering Scholars Program, Vice President of Kappa Theta Epsilon National Co-op Honor Society and a member of Mortar Board Senior Class Honorary. She was a Dean’s List student, a member of the Morrill Scholars Program and involved with Engineers for Community Service.
While studying at Ohio State, Kenzora completed co-ops and internships with Honda Engineering, in Anna, Ohio, Irwin Construction Tools in Huntersville, North Carolina, Honda Research and Development in Raymond, Ohio, and Graco Children’s Products in Atlanta, Georgia. Kenzora also studied abroad with Accademia Italiana Firenze’s Industrial Design Program in Florence, Italy. She was recently inducted into the Order of the Engineer and was selected as a finalist for the Department of Mechanical Engineering Outstanding Senior Award for excelling academically while taking an active role in university and community organizations. Kenzora has accepted full-time employment with Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan.
Kenzora, a 2009 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, is the daughter of Paul and Connie Kenzora of St. Clairsville. She is the granddaughter of Iola Bonfini and the late Louis Bonfini and Louise Kenzora and the late Frank Kenzora.
