Sixth annual Polka Festival to be held at Oglebay

WHEELING — The Sixth Annual Wheeling Polka Festival will be held Friday through March 26.

This years’ festival will feature three days of live polka music at Glessner Auditorium at Oglebay’s Wilson Lodge. The band line-up includes the following:

Friday

7 p.m. – Glessner Auditorium Doors Open

8 p.m. to midnight — Lenny Gomulka & Chicago Push

Saturday

10 a.m. to noon – Rise & Shine Party with DJ Michael Biela – Fort Henry

2 p.m. – Glessner Auditorium Doors Open

3-4 p.m. — Henny and the Versa J’s

4-5 p.m. — The John Gora Band

5-6 p.m. — The Boys

6-7 p.m. — Henny and the Versa J’s

7-8 p.m. — The John Gora Band

8-9 p.m. — The Boys

9-10 p.m. — Henny and the Versa J’s

10-11 p.m. — The John Gora Band

11 p.m. to midnight — The Boys

March 26

10-11 a.m. — Roman Catholic Mass with Monsignor Jeremiah McSweeney, Celebrant & The John Gora Band – Banquet View Rooms

11 a.m. — Glessner Auditorium Doors Open

Noon to 1 p.m. — Stephanie “America’s Polka Sweetheart” & Her Honky Band

1-2 p.m. — Lenny Gomulka & Chicago Push

2-3 p.m. — Stephanie “America’s Polka Sweetheart” & Her Honky Band

3-4 p.m. — Lenny Gomulka & Chicago Push

4-5 p.m. — Stephanie “America’s Polka Sweetheart” & Her Honky Band

5-6 p.m. — Lenny Gomulka & Chicago Push

Three-day passes are available. Special food and beverage options are available for purchase during the festival.

A special overnight package is available at Wilson Lodge. It includes Friday and Saturday night accommodations, breakfast and admission to all polka bands throughout the weekend.
