ABOVE: Pictured from left Jaide Booth, Kayla Fogle and Jessica Roberts, ninth-graders at Martins Ferry High School, are honored along with hundreds of other student achievers at the 33rd-annual Martins Ferry Academic Awards Banquet held at WesBanco Arena on Tuesday. To be eligible for the banquet, sponsored by the Martins Ferry Chamber of Commerce, high school students must have a 3.75 grade point average, and students in grades 5-8 must have a 3.5 GPA. All students living within the district in grades 5-12, regardless of the school they attend, were eligible if they met the GPA requirement.
