New partner joins firm
WHEELING — Certified public accountants Dennis Kozicki and Nancy Hughes announced the admission of Aimee E. Tickerhoof, CPA, as a partner in their firm, effective Tuesday.
Tickerhoof graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2006. She was certified in 2015 and is the first partner to be admitted since 2011. She has been with the firm since 2006, and is a firm leader in government and nonprofit accounting.
A native of Bridgeport, Tickerhoof has served on the Board of Directors for Harmony House and was recently promoted to treasurer. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts, the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Government Finance Officers Association and serves as secretary for the Ladies VFW Auxiliary Post 8848.
She and her husband, Josh, reside in Bridgeport with their two sons, Cameron and Mitchell.
The firm, which is being renamed from Wilson Kozicki & Gwynn PLLC to Kozicki Hughes Tickerhoof PLLC, was founded in 1964. It primarily performs audits for nonprofit organizations, governments and employee benefit plans, as well as providing personal and corporate tax preparation services.
