Bel-O-Mar is proposing to revise the Transportation Improvement Program

Fiscal Year programming is on a July 1 basis with FY2018 beginning July 1, 2017. Projects must be included in the local TIP and the State TIP to be eligible for federal funding. Bel-O-Mar is currently accepting public comments regarding the projects described below.

As requested by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), the following amendments are planned:

An Ohio 7 bridge replacement project from Ohio 7 off ramp at Howard Street (MP 19.75) in Bridgeport will be added.

The Preliminary Engineering phase will be added for FY2019. The phase cost is $1,400,000.

As requested by OVRTA/EORTA the following revisions are planned:

∫ OVRTA Operating assistance for FY2020 will be revised to change the Federal Transit Direct (5307) funding from $867,175 to $752,292 and levy funds from $1,993,098 to $2,107,981.

∫ EORTA Operating assistance for FY2020 will be revised to change the Federal Transit Direct (5307) funding from $513,373 to $446,501 and levy funds from $800,817 to $867,689.

A public comment period regarding the proposed Transportation Improvement Program revisions extends through April 17, 2019. Interested parties who desire to present their views on this proposed revision should submit written comments to:
