ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Shaw Farms Equine and Therapeutic Center recently was the beneficiary of a $300 donation.

Jerry Dolman, president of Sleep Inn and Suites of Belmont, presented the donation of almost $300 to Jeannine Shaw, CEO of the stables, prior to a therapeutic riding class last Wednesday.

“We are so blessed to have corporate angels in the community like Mr. Dolman, who help us provide this wonderful, unique therapy to our students,” Shaw said. “Therapeutic horseback riding presents many unique benefits which cannot be derived from any other type of therapy, not to mention, it’s fun.”

The stables provide therapeutic horseback riding exercise for children with special needs.

Dolman said Harley Davidson sponsors a band night periodically, and that his organization will donate the beverages for the band night. They put a donation jar on the table asking for a $1 donation which will go to a nonprofit in Belmont County. Shaw Farms was the recent recipient.

Dolman added Harley Davidson and Sleep Inn Suites are most happy to support non-profit organizations in Belmont County.
