MARTINS FERRY — Hot Rod Tattooing will host “Tattoos to the Rescue,” a fundraiser for the Belmont County Animal Rescue League, next month.

The business will be doing certain tattoo designs for a discounted price, and the design sheet will be available to view by the end of April. The event will also include “Tattoos to the Rescue” T-shirts for sale, food and raffles. The T-shirts are limited edition and only for sale on the day of the event.

All of the proceeds raised by Hot Rod Tattooing through the fundraiser that day will go to the Belmont County Animal Rescue League to aid dogs and cats with food, care and shelter while they await adoption. In addition, people can come to the shop to meet and adopt available pets, brought by BCARL, during the benefit.

This is the second year the tattoo shop has hosted a fundraiser for local animal rescue organizations. The last time, the business raised $5,000 for the Ohio County Animal Shelter. Next year, organizers plan to do it again for yet another local shelter.

The fundraiser will take place from noon to 8 p.m. May 11 at Hot Rod Tattooing, 20 S. Fourth St., Martins Ferry.
