Barton VFD receive new equipment
The members of the Barton Volunteer Fire Department recently put over $68,000 worth of new equipment into service. This includes a new Stryker Lifepak 15 cardiac monitor, 2 new CPR manikins, 6 ballistic vests, and a complete set of new Genesis rescue tools. The rescue tools include new cutters, spreaders, and stabilization tools. The Barton VFD answered 333 fire and EMS calls in 2018. The Department would like to thank Smith-Goshen Rice Enrichment Fund, Ascent Resources, Mark West Energy, Ohio Department of Public Safety EMS grants, and the community for their support in purchasing the new equipment.
