Customer appreciation days begin
MARTINS FERRY – Customer Appreciation Days are upon us, and for The Times Leader, it is a time to say “thank you” to our readers.
As part of the celebration, there will also be some fantastic prizes from Smith’s Sawdust Studio in Bethesda with a value of more than $1,200.
The winner of the contest will become the proud owner of a custom-built glider and a pair of Adirondack chairs courtesy of Smith’s Sawdust Studio.
“We’ve been doing this annually as a nice ‘thank you’ to our readers – to thank them for their dedication to The Times Leader,” said Heidi Clark, T-L advertising director. “We’ve already been receiving calls on how the contest works.”
And here is how it works. Starting Sunday and running through Sunday, April 21, special full- and half-page advertisements from local businesses will appear in the paper.
Then in the Monday, April 22 edition of The Times Leader, there will be a trivia page where readers will get to match up the slogan, motto or theme of the advertisement with the business and mail it to or drop it off at The Times Leader by Monday, April 29.
Those with the most correct answers will then be entered into a drawing for the beautiful prize package.
“It’s a pleasure to do business with The Times Leader and a great opportunity to let people know about what we do,” said Terry Smith, owner of Smith’s Sawdust Studio.
“Readers will have to save the papers from that week and look for clues, whether it’s a headline, a slogan or sale information to enter on the trivia page,” Clark said.
Clark said the paper appreciates Smith’s Sawdust Studio for its participation in the annual Customer Appreciation Days.
