Bridgeport stabbing suspects sought
BRIDGEPORT – Authorities are still looking for the two male suspects in connection with the stabbing of a man outside his 203 Kennon St. home.
The incident took place on Monday at 4:30 a.m. The victim was in an unattached garage when the attack took place.
“We followed up with a couple of leads, and we should learn more over the weekend,” said Lieutenant Jerry Delman of the Bridgeport Police Department.
The victim was treated for a couple of stab wounds at the Ohio Valley Medical Center.
According to Delman, the two suspects, one white and one black, left the scene on foot. One suspect was wearing a Carhartt-type jacket while the other was wearing a puffy-style coat.
Responding departments included the Bridgeport Police Department, Bellaire Police Department, Martins Ferry Police Department and the Belmont County Sheriff’s Department.
