Belmont County Drug Task Force makes seven arrests

BARNESVILLE – The Belmont County Drug Task Force made seven arrests yesterday. Kristy Thompson, Robert Wesley and Dylan Culbreth, all of 65203 Mt. Olivett Rd in Barnesville, were arrested on various charges.

Thompson was charged with trafficking in drugs (heroin), complicity to traffic in drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of drugs (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wesley was charged with complicity to traffic in drugs (heroin) and possession of drug abuse instruments. Culbreth was charged with trafficking in drugs (heroin), complicity to traffic in drugs and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Daniel Blackstone and Shayne Goodson, both of 507 Clifton St. in Barnesville, were both charged with the possession of drugs (heroin), possession of drug abuse instruments, drug paraphernalia and the possession of drugs (marijuana)

Robert Boles of 314 S Broadway St., in Barnesville was charged with trafficking in drugs (crack cocaine), possession of drugs (crack cocaine), drug paraphernalia and endangering children.

Mark Hannahs was arrested at the 202 Fuel Stop on a warrant for complicity to traffic in drugs (heroin).

“I just want to praise the task force officers for the time that they put into this and the Barnesville Police Department and Chief Norris for their help,” said Drug Task Force Commander John McFarland. “All the information for these arrest came from the citizens. If you know anyone who is using or trafficking drugs, please contact your local police department or me.”
