Harrison teen killed in crash

A crash along Upper Clearfork Road in Harrison County claimed the life of a teenage girl Monday night.

Officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol say that Taylor Dowdle, 16, was killed when the vehicle she was driving went off the side of the road, lost control and struck a tree.

She was a sophomore at Harrison Central High School.

The passenger was Jasmine Evans, also 16. She was flown to a Pittsburgh-area hospital with serious injuries.

This crash is still under investigation.
