Arraignments held in Belmont court

ST. CLAIRSVILLE Arraignments were held Thursday at Belmont County Common Pleas Court.

Patrick Thomas Mazik, 27, 307 E. Main St., Holloway, pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated burglary, a felony of the first degree, and one count of injuring animals, a misdemeanor of the second degree, both occurring Feb. 23, 2014. According to the prosecutor’s office, it is alleged that Mazik broke into a Holloway home to burglarize the residence and kicked a dog in the process. The victim arrived home to find the animal dead.

His status conference is set for April 25, with plea agreement May 23 and trial May 29. Bond was continued at $50,000.

David Lee Steele, 35, 54902 McLainsville Road, Bellaire, pleaded not guilty to two counts of gross sexual imposition, a felony of the third degree occurring January 1, 2013. Status conference was set for April 25, with plea agreement May 9 and trial May 20. Bond was set at $30,000.

Robert Allen Boles, 31, 64135B Rosedale Road, Salesville, pleaded not guilty to one count trafficking in drugs and one count possession of drugs, felonies of the fifth degree occurring Feb. 24, 2014. Status conference was set for May 9, with plea agreement June 6 and trial June 10. His recognizance bond was continued.

Dylan O. Culbreth, 24, 65203 Mt. Olive Road, Barnesville, pleaded not guilty to two counts of trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fifth degree occurring Feb. 5, 2014. His status conference was set for May 9, with plea agreement June 6 and trial June 12. Bond was continued at $5,000.

Mark Harold Hannahs, 46, 62442 Hillcrest Road, Barnesville, now in custody and awaiting sentence on a separate case, pleaded not guilty to one count complicity in trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fifth degree occurring Feb. 11, 2014. Pre-trial was set for May 12, with plea agreement July 21 and trial July 31.

Heather Renee Huntsman, 29, 58486 Wright Road, Barnesville, pleaded not guilty to one count trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fifth degree occurring Oct. 3, 2013. His status conference was set for May 23, with plea agreement June 6 and trial June 17. His recognizance bond was continued.

Robert E. Wesley, 65, 65203 Mt. Olive Road, Barnesville, pleaded not guilty to one count complicity in drug trafficking, a felony of the fifth degree occurring Feb. 12, 2014. Pre-trial was set for May 12, with plea agreement July 7 and trial July 24. Bond of $5,000 was continued.

Kristy Kay Thompson, 50, 65203 Mt. Olive Road, Barnesville, pleaded not guilty to trafficking in drugs and complicity to trafficking in drugs, felonies of the fifth degree occurring Feb. 5, 2014. Status conference was set for May 23, with plea agreement June 6 and trial June 24. Bond of $5,000 was continued.

Michael James Jackson, 25, 46898 Columbus St., St. Clairsville, pleaded not guilty to two counts of trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fifth degree occurring March 22, 2013. Pre-trial was set for May 12, with plea agreement July 7 and trial July 22. Bond of $2,500 was continued.

Jonathan Edward Peek, 36, incarcerated, pleaded not guilty to one count possession of a deadly weapon while under detention, a felony of the third degree occurring Oct. 17, 2013. Status conference was set for May 23, with plea agreement June 6 and trial June 26.

Terry Paul Triplett, 33, incarcerated, pleaded not guilty to two counts possession of a deadly weapon while under detention, a felony of the fourth degree occurring Oct. 17, 2013. A status conference was set for May 23, with plea agreement June 6 and trial July 1.

Eddie Michael Mulholland, 30, 1213 Shannon Drive, North Augusta, South Carolina, pleaded not guilty to two count trafficking in drugs with a forfeiture specification and one count possession of drugs, one felony of the fourth degree and two fifth degree felonies. Status conference was set for May 9, plea agreement was set for June 6 and trial July 8. Bond was set for $10,000.

A warrant was issued for Robert Joseph Morris, 31, 527 South Front St., Wheeling.
