Belco Works to hold Shred to Save event

ST. CLAIRSVILLE – Belco Works, Inc. in conjunction with its community partners will be holding the 7th Annual Shred to Save event on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Riesbeck’s Food Market in St. Clairsville.

This community event is being held on the Saturday after Arbor Day, and the Belco Works mobile shredding unit will be operating in the parking lot of Riesbeck’s. The event is open to the public and up to 75 pounds of documents can be shredded for free.

The public is encouraged to bring old bank statements, tax records and files for free shredding. Businesses will receive a 10%-off coupon for their next document destruction service at Belco Works.

Each person will receive a tree seedling provided by the Belmont Soil and Water Conservation District in observation of Arbor Day. The first 50 presenting customers will receive a commemorative t-shirt with all of the event’s partners listed on the back.

“The Shred to Save event gives us the opportunity to highlight the abilities of our employees and our document destruction business,” stated Gregg Arnett, Facility Manager.

The community partners that are assisting Belco Works in putting on this event include Riesbeck’s, Belmont Soil and Water Conservation District, the Belmont County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Hanlon, Estadt, McCormick and Schramm Co., LPA, Paramount Support Services, Tomorrow’s Corner, AEP Cardinal Plant, the Cornerstone Group, Softite Community FCU, KOOL 105.5, Sew Biz and Lil’ Gerardo’s Pizza, Eastern States Packaging, Steele Insurance Associates, and the Belmont County Agricultural Society.
