Bellaire police arrest two men
TWO MEN were arrested Thursday morning by Bellaire Police after they received a tip that the two were in a car shooting up drugs in a business parking lot on Guernsey Street.
The tip included the license plate of the vehicle which was spotted in another parking lot about a block away.
Officers arrested Christopher R. Pacifico, 24, of 324 Howard St., Bridgeport, and Jason G. Magnani, 30, of 56589 Little Captina Creek, Powhatan Point, on several charges including possession of heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments and permitting drug abuse. Magnani was also being held on a probation violation charge.
Officers found a small baggie containing heroin in a cigarette pack, a syringe and a cloth tourniquet
Both subjects were transported to the Belmont County Jail and bond was set at $4,500 for each of them. Magnani had no bond set on a probation violation charge.
According to police, Magnani was a resident of Flushing and previously resided in Powhatan Point. His address at the jail is listed as 56589 Little Captina Creek, Powhatan Point.
Chief Mike Kovalyk once again gave credit to the good people of Bellaire for calling in the tip which led to the arrests.
