Farmers’ Market featuring produce and much more
THE?OHIO Valley Farmers’ Market will operate on Thursday from 3-6 p.m. at the Bel-Morr Market at exit 208 and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at 32nd Street in Bellaire.
Shoppers will find seasonal produce, pasture-raised meats and eggs, fresh and dried herbs, baked goods, jams and jellies, crafts, Young Living essential oils and personal care products, and more at the two locations.
At the Saturday market, there will also be homemade sourdough bread, organic teas, honey, organic granola, daylilies, Ohio maple syrup, gourmet popcorn, pickled vegetables, and pies.
On Saturday, consumers can sample fennel and white bean soup at the market tent. Free tote bags provided by Belmont Savings Bank and complimentary coffee are also available.
Children can visit the Kids’ Corner to paint garden rocks under the guidance of Natalie Hawthorne of Paint Parties by Natalie.
OVFM participates in the USDA Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes sponsors the program.
