Two sentencings in Solovan court
ST. CLAIRSVILLE – Two sentences for theft and burglary were handed down during a Tuesday session of Belmont County Common Pleas Court. Judge John M. Solovan II presided.
Joseph Edward Barton, 32, Jacobsburg, was sentenced for burglary, a felony of the third degree. He was given five years of community controls. He will serve up to five months in jail with credit for 104 days. He will serve six months EOCC.
Shayla Renee Robinson, 22, Bridgeport, was sentenced on a count of theft. She was given three years of community control sanctions and will serve up to 75 days in jail with two days’ credit.
She will serve six months EOCC. She will also pay restitution of $600.
