Arraignments held in Judge Fregiato’s court

ST. CLAIRSVILLE Arraignments were held Thursday at Belmont County Common Pleas Court. Judge Frank Fregiato presided.

Donald Joseph Bennington, 28, 53197 Trough Run Road, Bellaire, pleaded not guilty to one count of tampering with evidence and one count having weapons while under disability, felonies of the third degree occurring Nov. 29, 2013. Pre-trial was set for Sept. 15, with plea agreement Oct. 14 and trial Nov. 6. He was given a blanket bond of $1 million, covering these as well as last month’s indictments of rape and domestic violence.

Paden Nicole Dixon, 21, 700 41st St., Bellaire, pleaded not guilty to two counts of trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fourth degree occurring Jan. 14, 2014. Pre-trial was set for Sept. 15, with plea agreement Oct. 14 and trial Oct. 30. Bond was continued at $7,500.

Aaron Paul Jordan, 28, 27, Greenbrier Lane, Wheeling, pleaded not guilty to trafficking in drugs, a felony of the third degree occurring April 3, 2014. Status conference was set for Sept. 12, with plea agreement Sept. 26 and trial Oct. 7. Bond was continued at $43,595.

Robin Eliane Appleby, 39, 4968 State Route 150, Dillonvale, pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to convey drugs into jail, a felony of the fourth degree occurring May 2, 2014. Status conference was set for Sept. 12, with plea agreement Oct. 10 and trial Oct. 16. Bond was continued at $20,000.

Kiana Brien Wallace, 21, 5075 Jefferson St., Bellaire, pleaded not guilty to trafficking in drugs with a forfeiture specification, and possession of drugs, felonies of the fifth degree occurring May 18, 2014. Pre-trial was set for Sept. 29, with plea agreement Oct. 27 and trial Dec. 4. Bond of $10,985 was continued and she was held on Northern Division Court.

Jeffrey Walker Kitchen, 22, 70850 Sandstone Way, St. Clairsville, pleaded not guilty to one count attempted theft, a felony of the fourth degree, and one count theft, a felony of the fifth degree, both occurring April 1, 2014. Pre-trial was set for Sept. 2, with plea agreement Sept. 15 and trial Oct. 7. Bond was continued at $22,000.

Monty Lee Huff, 23, 42331 Horseshoe Bend Road, Belmont, pleaded not guilty to two counts of trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fifth degree occurring March 27 and April 2, 2014. Pre-trial was set for Sept. 2, with plea agreement Sept. 15 and trial Oct. 9. Bond was continued at $5,000.

Keith Augustis Pitts, 39, 69111 Rustic Drive, St. Clairsville, pleaded not guilty to felonious assault, a felony of the second degree occurring June 3, 2014. Status conference was set for Sept. 12, with plea agreement Oct. 10 and trial Oct. 14.

Troy Dynel Redmond, 40, 14 North Third St., Martins Ferry, pleaded not guilty to one count trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fifth degree, one count trafficking in drugs in the vicinity of a school or juvenile, a felony of the fourth degree, and two counts possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree, all occurring May 17, 2014. Pre-trial was set for Sept. 2, 2014, with plea agreement Sept. 29 and trial Oct. 21. A recognizance bond was set.

David Wayne Glenn, 26, 907 Brown Avenue, Cambridge, pleaded not guilty to theft of prescription drugs and safecracking, a felony of the fourth degree occurring Dec. 18, 2013. Pre-trial was set for Aug. 18, with plea agreement Sept. 15 and trial Sept. 25. Bond was set at $10,000.

Kevin Roger Alredge, 57, 102 Gould Park Road, Bridgeport, pleaded not guilty to burglary, a felony of the second degree, and breaking and entering, a felony of the fifth degree, occurring June 17, 2014. Pre-trial was set for Sept. 2, with plea agreement Sept. 29 and trial Oct. 9. Bond was set at $20,000.

Kody Scott Detling, 21, 63736 Barnesville St., Barnesville, pleaded not guilty to receiving stolen property, a felony of the fifth degree occurring March 12, 2014. Status conference was set for Sept. 12, with plea agreement Sept. 26 and trial Oct. 2. Bond was set at $5,000.

Joseph Samuel Hitt, 31, 70833 Barton Road, Barton, pleaded not guilty to breaking and entering, a felony of the fifth degree occurring May 6, 2014. Status conference was set for Sept. 12, with plea agreement Oct. 10 and trial Oct. 21. Bond was continued at $3,750.
