Cases heard in Fregiato court

ST. CLAIRSVILLE Belmont County Common Pleas Court Judge Frank Fregiato held court Thursday.

Donald Joseph Bennington, 27, 53197 Trough Run Road, Bellaire, pleaded guilty to one count of tampering with evidence and one count weapons while under disability, felonies of the third degree. Sentencing was set for Sept. 18. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered.

Mark Duane McEndree, 27, 46393 Firehouse St., Belmont, was sentenced to 36 months on a count of intimidation, a felony of the third degree, 36 months for burglary and 18 months for domestic violence. He was given the maximum on each count, but will serve counts one and two concurrently with 18 months suspended for a total sentence of 36 months in the penitentiary.

Tyler Snyder, 29, 206 Lake St., Bethesda saw new dates set in his case. He is charged with robbery, a felony of the second degree occurring Dec. 13, 2013. Pre-trial was set for Sept. 2, with plea agreement Sept. 29 and trial Oct. 16.
