YTR signs gas accord with IGS

On July 28, the villages of Yorkville, Tiltonsville and Rayland signed an agreement with Interstate Gas Supplier, known as IGS, to be the Supplier for the YTR Electric Aggregation Program at a rate of 6.98 per KWH.

The villages, along with John Ney, consultant for World Energy, have determined that IGS best meets the needs of the villages and their residents as the exclusive supplier of ELECTRICITY to them for the next three years.

Within the next few weeks, eligible YTR residents will be receiving information from IGS regarding the program. Please note that AEP will be continue to be the electric delivery company and that residents will still receive their electric bill from AEP.

If residents have questions or concerns about information regarding other suppliers or electricity rates that they may receive in the mail or from individuals coming to their door, they are urged to contact John Ney, World Energy at 813-210-7184.
