Belmont Volunteer Fire Department prepares to host a dance for adults

BELMONT — As the Belmont Volunteer Fire Department prepares to welcome voters to its station, it also is getting ready to offer some summer entertainment for a good cause.

Lt. Kaye Hall said the VFD will host a dance for adults from 7-10 p.m. June 30 at the Belmont gymnasium on Third Street. Admission to the event is free, but donations in support of the fire department will be gratefully accepted at the door.

According to Hall, music for dancing will be provided by a disc jockey. Selections will include oldies, polkas, music for line dancing and tunes for round dancing as well. She urges everyone to come out and enjoy the evening and to support the department.

Attendees can enjoy free popcorn, and soft drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event. No alcohol will be permitted.

All proceeds benefit the Belmont VFD.
