At least 2 injured in head-on Ohio 9 collision in St. Clairsville

ST. CLAIRSVILLE – At least two people were injured in a head-on collision on Ohio 9 in St. Clairsville this afternoon.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Michael Trullous said a Chrysler Town & Country was traveling north on Ohio 9, also known as South Marietta Street, when it apparently went left of center and struck a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck head-on.

Two people were transported to area hospitals, but their conditions were not immediately known. Troullous said the driver of the Town & Country may have suffered a medical emergency, leading to the crash.
