KOWALSKI, Mary Anne, 95, of Parma, Ohio, formerly of Wolfhurst, died Thursday October 18, 2012 at Holy Family Home, Parma, Ohio.

She was born January 18, 1917 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late John and Eva (Malek) Prorok.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, and the St. Anne’s Society.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Kowalski Sr.; two brothers, Adam and William Prorok; and five sisters, Anna Stortz, Nellie Charne, Genevieve Sheekski, Sophia Kroflich, and Josephine Silon.

Mary is survived by a son, Michael (Lucy) Kowalski Jr. of Parma Heights; a daughter, Sr, Eva Marie Kawalski of Bardstown, KY; two grandchildren, Christine (Steven) Manning and Theresa (William) Steller; four great-grandchildren, Isaac, Jenna, Emily Rose and Ian; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary was a foster mother of Patty Templin (Jones) and Paul Templin.

Friends are invited to a celebration of Mary’s life on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 1-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, with Fr. John Mucha officiating. Interment in St. Anthony’s Cemetery Blaine. Wake service will be recited on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
