BLON, Randall C.
God called Randall C. Blon Home to Heaven on Sunday, December 30, 2012, from the Ohio State University Hospital ICU surrounded by his family and friends.
Randall was born on December 8, 1949, in Barnesville, OH and was a 1968 graduate of Barnesville High School.
He was the Owner-Operator of R. Blon Trucking, Inc. and drove truck for 44 years. He was a long time loyal member of the Eastern Ohio Charity Association and a Teamster.
Randall was a loving, loyal and devoted husband, Dad, Pap Pap and friend.
Randall was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forest and Pauline Blon; his step-father, Raymond Piatt; half-brother, Gary Piatt; his wife, Valerie (Touvelle) Blon; and many dear friends.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, There’sa Lynne Blon; son, Brian (Kathy) Blon; daughters, Amanda Blon, Marissa Blon, Melinda (Jamie) Carpenter; and a son, James Blon; grandchildren, Gage and Solara Blon, Lauren and Dylan Blon and Annie and Kole Carpenter; and his faithful companion, Mutleah. Randall is also survived by his mother, Shirley Piatt; and five sisters, Karen Piatt, Shirley “Sis” Milhoan, Christine Marrow, Rosie (George) Riser, and Marysue “Susie” Johnson; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his Special “Family of Friends,” Bruce “Wolfy” Gander, Harlan Howell, Dave “Turbo” Cline, James Keylor, Kitty Jo Paboucek, Katie Daniels and Greg “Shu” Shumaker.
Services will be held at Cambell- Plumly- Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut, Barnesville, OH.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 1-3 and from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. with Pastor Gary Eller officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
