Together Again

FREEMAN, Oma M., 95, of Wheeling, WV, and formerly of Bellaire, OH, Martins Ferry, OH, and the Beacon House of St. Clairsville, OH, passed away peacefully with her family at her side Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital, Wheeling.

She was born October 22, 1917 in Monroe County, OH, a daughter of the late Albert and Charlottie Swegard Bauer.

Oma was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Women’s Society.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland H. Freeman in December of 1996; four sisters: Freida Roth, Lula Fankhauser, Geneva Bauer and Jessie Detwiler; and two brothers Wesley and Elmer Bauer.

Surviving are three daughters: Louise (Jim) Paree of the Bethlehem section of Wheeling, Sandy (Jay) Hardway of Chardon, OH, and Linda (Bob) Frazier of Wausau, WI; seven grandchildren: Paul Hardway, Stephanie Paree, Christie Cipolla, Matthew Paree, Michael Paree, Ryan Frazier and Elisabeth Frazier; and seven great-grandchildren: Jacob Revak, Juliet Hardway, Mya Revak, Olivia Hardway, Roselyn Hardway, Lillyanna Paree and Luceysue Paree.

Friends will be received on Monday May 27, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 37th St., Bellaire, with the Rev. Sheryl Seitz officiating. Burial follows in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
