DeLORETTA, Angelo, 86, of Bellaire, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at the home of his daughter, in Lebanon, Ohio.
Angelo was born July 10, 1926 in Bellaire, OH, a son of the late James and Nunziata “Nancy” Santacroce DeLoretta.
He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Benwood Mill, a member of St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire, OH and a World War II Army Veteran.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Betty Yost DeLoretta; a brother, Louis DeLoretta; four sisters, Annie Paulette, Minnie DeLoretta, Minnie Paulette and Rachel Jafrate.
Surviving is a daughter, with whom he made his home, Stephanie Griffiths of Lebanon, OH; three sisters, Delphine DeLoretta of St. CIairsville, OH, Margaret Tedeschi of Bellaire, OH and Rosemary Polli of Bridgeport, OH; two grandchildren, Angelina Griffiths and Bernard Griffiths Jr.; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Heusel as Celebrant.
Interment follows in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Bellaire, Ohio.
Vigil service at 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
