SANDRICK, Evelyn F. “Dadie,” 98, of Zanesville, died at 5:20 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Cedar Hill Care Center.
She was born on October 13, 1914 in Powhatan Point, Ohio, the daughter of Aaron Isaac Ramsay and Arizona (Brown) Ramsay.
Evelyn was Methodist by faith, and along with her husband Steve, were part owners in the Powhatan Lumber Company in Powhatan Point OH. Dadie was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her nephew, Van A. and Connie Ramsay of Willard OH and niece, Gail Binni of Wilmington, NC.; a great- niece and two great- nephews, and also a special lifelong friend, Viola Watson of Powhatan, OH.
Evelyn was preceded in death in addition to her parents and her husband, Steve Sandrick; by a brother Farrell Ramsay; and a sister, Hazel Rushton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home Chapel with family members conducting a celebration of life service.
Burial will conclude with services at 1 p.m. Monday, June 17 at the Powhatan Point Cemetery Chapel, 165 Main St., Powhatan Point OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Powhatan United Methodist Church, 169 Main St., Powhatan Point OH 43942.
