SEFSICK, James “Boney,” 68, of Adena passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 2, 2013.
Jim was born February 2, 1945 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was a son of the late Peter and Estelle Gaba Sefsick.
Jim was a 1963 graduate of Adena High School. He was a lifelong resident of Adena and called Canada his second home. He was employed by Ferro Alloys in Brilliant, OH and later by the R&F coal company in Morristown, OH.
Jim loved his trips to Canada, gardening and canning his home grown vegetables. He was passionate about the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was very proud of and dearly loved his two grandsons.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Todd Sefsick, and fiancee, Melissa Six, of Washington, PA; his daughter, Megan Sefsick Campbell, and her husband, Doug, of Adena; brothers, Jerry (Marianne) Sefsick of Adena and Tom Sefsick of Oregon; sisters, Barbara (John) Woods of Adena and Rosetta (Kendall) Hershburger of Morgantown, WV; his pride and joy, grandsons, Gavin and Tyler Sefsick; several loving nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.
Deceased, in addition to his mother and father, is a sister, Patricia Sefsick Runevitch, and her husband, Edward.
At Jim’s request, there will be no public visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Borkoski’s Funeral Home.
