BELLEW, Yvonne, 35, of Doyline, LA formerly of Lafferty, OH, died Thursday in Bossier City, LA, as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born April 15, 1978 at Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late William and Marie Melchiori Bellew.
Yvonne had recently retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant and was working at the Good Samaritan Counseling Services and was a member of the Modified Dolls Organization and St. Paul Catholic Church.
Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Josephine Startzel of Doyline; two sisters, Antoinette “Toni” Bellew and Michelle (Martin) Wollenzin of Edmond, OK; two nieces and a nephew, Trinity Billetter, Payton Wollenzin and Austin Billetter; many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main St., St. Clairsville, OH with a vigil service at 4 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Flushing, OH with Fr. Frederick Kihm as celebrant. Burial follows in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lafferty, OH.
Belmont County Veterans Association will conduct full military honors graveside.
A memorial trust is being established, contributions may be made to Yvonne’s sister, Michelle Wollenzin, 1212 Briarwood Drive, Edmond, OK 73014.
