PALMER, Murven Eugene Sr. “Charlie”

PALMER, Murven Eugene Sr. “Charlie,” 67, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Harrison Community Hospital.

He was born December 3, 1945 in Powhatan Point, OH, son of Helen May Palmer Powell and the late Carl Raymond Palmer.

He was a former plumber and machine operator and a member of Church Alive in Key, OH.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Mae “Becky” Palmer; two brothers, Carl Edward Palmer and Carlos Anthony Palmer.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Helen Powell, are his children, Charlene McCormick, Murven Eugene Palmer Jr. and Brooke Noel Atwell; brothers, Roger, David, Greg, Robert, Paul and William Palmer; sisters, Norma Tucker, Patty Wallace, Marcia Arn, Sarah Arn and Melissa Tyminski; grand children, Heather Reline, Julia and Kayla Palmer and Tommy McCormick.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow in Jacobsburg Cemetery.
