MARZLEY, Bernard B. Marzley, 94, of Canton, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at The Inn at Belden Village.
He was born July 24, 1919 to his parents, the late Bolek and Enda Marzley. Bernard retired from the Timken Company after 32 years of service. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. He was a 60 year member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic Order of Foresters, SOAR United Steel Workers and the American Legion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth ‘Penny’ Marzley; brothers, Stanley and Louis; sister, Helen Turel. He is survived by sons, Bruce (Cindy) Marzley of North Canton and Michael Marzley of Columbus; sister, Josephine Lekeu of Adena, Ohio; grandchildren, Burt (Amanda) Marzley and Brandon (Emily) Marzley; great-grand children, Peter, Caleb and Caroline Marzley.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church with Msgr. Frank A. Carfagna as celebrant. Entombment with Military Honors were followed at Calvary Cemetery.
