PFROGNER, Herman, 97, of Bridgeport, died Thursday, October 31, 2013, at his home.

He was born October 27, 1917 in Blaine, OH, a son of the late Adolf and Ann (Dvorak) Pfrogner.

He was a retired employee from the Martins Ferry Plant of Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel, and a Methodist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Tinklepaugh, and Mary Pfrogner, and a nephew, Ernest Maizlik, Sr.

Herman is survived by a nephew, James Maizlik, three great-nephews, James Maizlik, David (Angie) Maizlik, and Ernest Maizlik, Jr., a great-great niece Britney Maizlik, one great-great-great niece, and one great-great-great nephew, a dear friend, Dolores Fisher, and her children Deborah (Kathryn) Bernish-Fisher of Columbus and DeWayne (Toni) Fisher of Lewis Center, OH and a granddaughter, Kallee.

According to Herman’s wishes there will be no visitation and services.

Private interment was held at the convenience of the family in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine. Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside assisted the family.
