BAKER, Ralph V. Baker, 77, of Barnesville, Ohio died Friday, January 10, 2014 at Woodsfield Nursing and Rehab. He was born April 2, 1936 in Lamira, Ohio, son of the late Art Baker and Margaret Conley McCauley.
Ralph worked in construction for many years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines. Ralph was a 32 Mason of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction Valley Cambridge, a member of the Kirkwood Masonic Lodge 446 of Hendrysburg and the Barnesville American Legion Post 168.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roland McCauley and grandson, Dominic Tamborello.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 55 years, Virginia Baker; daughter, Terri Tamborello; son, Chris (Tia) Baker all of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Shane Wells, Josh Stephen, Christopher Baker; five great-grandchildren, sisters, Lillian Reeves and Rita Holderbaum both of Massillon, Ohio; brothers, Lee (Shirley) McCauley and George McCauley both of Florida.
Family and friends may visit, Sunday 3 p.m. until the time of service beginning at 6 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Reverend Kevin Campbell officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of Ralph’s family.
A Masonic Service will be conducted, Sunday at 5 p.m. The VFW Belmont County Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors Sunday at 5:45 p.m.
