HOLLINGSHEAD, Charles E., 79, of Bellaire, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at his home.

He was born March 28, 1934 in Bellaire, a son of the late Charles T. and Sarah Josephine Heath Hollingshead.

He was an employee of the former Phillips Stamping Company in Bellaire and an avid Big Reds fan. Charles was a US Navy veteran and a member of the VFW Post 626 in Bellaire.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Charles T. “Chuckie” Hollingshead; two sisters, Patty McFeley and Mazie Warner and three brothers, Tom, Richard and Bruce Hollingshead.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Stevey Hollingshead; children, Nathan Hollingshead of Martins Ferry, Rebecca (James) Hollingshead- Beavers of Shadyside, Richard Hollingshead of St. Clairsville, Randall (Jane) Hollingshead of Brookside, Russell Hollingshead and Michael Hollingshead both of Bellaire, stepchildren, Melanie Tharp (Joseph) Lutton of Columbus, Carlie Tharp and Joshua Tharp both of Martins Ferry sisters, Shirley Brown of Powhatan Point, Kay (John) Abrigg of Elm Grove and Sharon Kinder of St. Joe and brothers, Gary Hollingshead and Terry (Tammy Sechrest) Hollingshead both of Bellaire and John Hollingshead of Warwood, as well as his former wife, Beverly Marple Hollingshead of Bellaire. Also grandchildren, Christy Lynn, Allissa, Brandi, Cody, Shea, Blake, Devin, Logan, Lily, Kaden, Anthony and Jason and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, February 13 at the Bellaire Salvation Army from 1 until time of memorial services at 2 p.m. with Major Louis Patrick officiating.
