Mary Kotlarchik of Canfield, OH, passed away on June 22, 2014 at 87.
Mary, born in Provident, OH on May 9, 1927 to Lazo and Catherine Chorovich.
She was a long-time resident of St. Clairsville where she lived after her marriage to Carl Kotlarchik Sr. on January 10, 1948. They were married for 44 years before Carl died in 1992. Mary then moved to Brockport, NY to be near her son and his family before moving to Canfield in 2007.
Mary loved to cook and was known for her baked goodies. She was also an avid seamstress making many quilts and blankets for friends and family. She was especially fond of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed their visits.
Mary is survived by her son, Carl Kotlarchik Jr. and his wife, Karen of Canfield, her grandchildren, Shannon Warnes and husband, Mike of Pittsburgh and Garrett Kotlarchik of Seattle, her grandchildren, Carter and Emily Warnes, and her sisters, Jane Van Dyne of Indianapolis and Dorothy Waitman of Seven Points, TX.
Mary will be buried in Union Cemetery with a memorial for friends and family in St. Clairsville later this summer.
