Olive Marie DiCenzo, 77, beloved Mother and Grandmother died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Wheeling Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 9, 1936 in Claysville, PA, a daughter of the late William and Mae Jackson Fordyce.

She was a Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Angelo DiCenzo; an infant daughter, Debra Kay.

Surviving are two sons, Danny (Barbara) DiCenzo and David DiCenzo, both of Yorkville; a daughter, Anita (Brian) Westling of Dillonvale; three loving grandsons, Michael, Matthew and Christopher DiCenzo; her very best friend, Eleanor Outward of Yorkville; a special cousin, Willadean Clutter of Claysville, PA; brothers, William Fordyce of Weirton, WV and Walter (Anita) Fordyce of Hanover, PA; sisters, Anna Glass of Georgetown, PA, Marjorie Smitsky of Clinton, PA and Frances Van Cleave of Danbury, NC; several nieces and nephews; many close friends; and wonderful neighbors who lovingly called her “The Mayor of Walter Street.”

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Olive and celebrate her life on Friday, 4-8 p.m., at Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Buckeye Local High School Marching Band, c/o Bill Stephens, 10692 St. Hwy 150, Rayland, OH 43943.
