Wesley Duane Morris, 64, of Orrville, OH formerly of Bellaire, OH, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 in the Akron General Hospice Care Center surrounded by his family.
He was born on November 30, 1949, a son of the late George and Annabelle Moore Morris.
He served as Chief of Police in Orrville, OH, and upon his retirement he went to teaching special education class at the Norton High School in Norton, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Morris; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Agatha Moore; his paternal grandparents, Edmond and Viola Morris and many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Loi Davey Morris; his son, Jeffrey (Audra) Morris of Chicago, ILL; his daughter, Tiffeny (Steve) Miller of Gambier, OH; and one grandson, Theo Miller; sisters, Barbara Russell of Glen Robbins, OH and Opal (John) Ritts of Martins Ferry, OH; uncle, Joseph “Bud” and Annette Moore of Neffs, OH; aunts, Barbara Knight of Columbus, OH and Edith McKelvey of Jacobsburg, OH.
There will be no visitation as per Wesley’s request.
