Harry “Bud” McGarry, 90, of Bellaire, Ohio, died Friday, December 1, 2017 in the Wheeling Hospital.
He was born June 5, 1927 in Bellaire, Ohio, the son of the late Harry H. and Myrtle L. Myers McGarry.
Bud was a retired employee of the former Imperial Glass Corporation and a retired meter repairman for the Village of Bellaire.
He was a past president of the Bellaire Junior Sports and coached the Indians Baseball Team for sixteen years. Bud was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, June I. McGarry on May 15, 1996; his sister, Nancy cook; and his former wife, Margaret Calvarese Camelo.
Surviving are his children, Mary (Mike) Borchek of Chicago, Illinois, Judy McGarry of Bellaire, ohio, Mike McGarry of Bridgeport, Ohio, Curt (Cindi) McGarry and Scott (Diane) McGarry both of Bellaire, Ohio. Also six grandchildren, Michael Marling, Nicole McGarry, Sabrina McGarry, Chris Williams, Melissa Borchek and Michelle Borchek; three great-grandchildren, Bianca, Eric and Colin; one great-great-grandson, Brantley; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio, on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Wright officiating. Interment in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
