Josephine A. Magnani, 99, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Cumberland Pointe.
She was born May 16, 1919 in Pittston, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Tadeusz Jackowski and Anna Chavinski Jackowski.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Primo Magnani; son, Jerry Magnani; brothers, Michael and Theadore Jackowski; and sister, Virginia Cislo.
Josephine will be dearly missed and her legacy will live on by those who survive her; daughter, Ellen (Fred) Foraker of Rittman, Ohio; son, Gene (Sharon) Magnani of Belmont, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Joan (Tom) Cherry of Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Sharing many experiences throughout her 99 years, Josephine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. A devoted Catholic, her faith led her to believe and accept that everything comes from God, that life is a gift, and that true happiness comes from giving.
Family and friends are welcome to visit Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main St., Bethesda, where a Christian Celebration of Life will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Lafferty, Ohio.
