Karen S. Johnson, 68, of Flushing, died Monday, December 3, 2018, in Wheeling Hospital, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born in Barnesville, February 3, 1950, a daughter of the late Harold and Marjorie Anderson Johnson.
Karen was a Christian by faith and loved music, movies and books, as well as spending time with her family. She gained much reward from providing compassion and support to her peers and clients at her longtime job at Northwood Health Systems, which she continued to hold up until this week.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her brother, Harold W. Johnson; and her sister, Brenda K. Johnson.
Surviving are her niece, Kris Johnson and family, Flushing; nephew, Harold Johnson; as well as her dearest friends, John, Nancy and Seth Pogacich, all of Flushing.
Friends will be received at Warren Funeral Home, Flushing, Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 with Rev. Pete Tuchek officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing.
We will hold her close within our hearts and there she will remain. To walk with us throughout our lives, until we meet again.
