Rosie Elda Borovich, 93, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Monday, January 7, 2019 at Liza’s Place in Wheeling.

She was born April 5, 1925 in Midway, Ohio, a daughter of the late Frank Debo and Agnes Mary Socha Debo.

Elda was a retired bookkeeper and secretary for Efaw Sales and Service in St. Clairsville after 50 years. She was a 69-year member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, the AARP, St. Clairsville Senior Center and a life member of the St. Clairsville Alumni Association. Above all, Elda adored her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John Waldie Borovich; three sisters, Annie Kosco, Mary Brown and Agnes Doty; five brothers, John, Frank, Freddie, Lewis, and Joe Debo.

Surviving are her daughter, Jill (Jeffrey) Keyser of Bellaire; three grandchildren, Jayson (Danielle) Keyser of St. Clairsville, Jalynn Keyser of Wheeling, and Justyn Keyser of Bellaire; a great- granddaughter, Olivia Grace Keyser; several nieces and nephews; and close family friend, Mark Meager.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Demarest officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
