Patricia (DiNardo) Csillag passed away in August at her home in Amherst, OH.
Patty, born in 1931, was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Csillag, her parents John and Angeline (DeSimone) DiNardo of Shadyside as well as by her many aunts and uncles.
She is survived by an extended family of cousins including her first cousins Eleanor (Raspa) Warner of Kingwood, TX, Kathryn (Frizzi) Regoli of Ocala, FL, and Tom Ostasiewski of Trinity, FL, each formerly from Bellaire.
Patty was a native of Shadyside, a graduate of Shadyside High School and of West Liberty State College, where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Her initial teaching position was with the Bellaire City School District where she taught in the early elementary grades at St. Joe Elementary and later at Rose Hill. Patty moved on to northern Ohio, where she married Bob and continued teaching, mostly at the early elementary level. She retired from teaching after more than 30 years of service. Patty was a devoted educator who thoroughly enjoyed working with “little kids.” She will be remembered fondly by the many young students whose lives she touched and helped to shape.
Patty was laid to rest joining her husband, Bob, in a private ceremony at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Avon, OH.
