Dear Editor,

I am a fifth grade student at Bellaire Middle School. Now that the levy was voted down again, a lot of things will happen to my school. More classes will be cut. Kids will leave our district. We could lose our sports team. I want to graduate a Big Red, like my mom and my grandparents, my aunts and uncles. I’m really sad that the levy was voted down. If we can’t depend on the adults to help us, then who can we depend on?

Thanks to our teaching staff we were rated excellent. If we lose more teachers our education will suffer. It’s really disappointing the voters let us down. So I’m asking the voters if the levy is put back on the ballot, I ask you if you could find it in your hearts to vote, “yes” for our future education.

Thank you.
