Their owner loved them – at least that’s what I was told. But, as happens with many animals. The description can’t begin to describe how low this human was. The animals could escape and run away, but loved their owner. The condition got so bad the Humane Society of the United States was asked to come assist and rescue the animals.
My heart truly broke when I assisted in the field to rescue these wonderful animals. Horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats and more.
The owner had betrayed these animals time and time again.
The animals spirit seemed broken.
How tragic, the person who rescued these animals turned out to be a bad person too.
Why do I rescue animals? The answer is this. They need rescued from human cruelty. The tragedy of animal abuse is real, very real.
Rescues don’t receive any government funding and rely totally on caring people in the community. Give your pet a hug.
Thank you Sheriff Lucas, Sgt. Allar and HSUS for all you did for the animals of Belmont County.
God Bless You,
