Dear Editor

It isn’t easy to write letters like this. If you see a tornado coming, isn’t your natural reaction to try to warn people to get to shelter; to seek protection.

Some people will heed the warning and some will scoff. Other will just completely ignore you. Never the less, you do what you believe God calls you to do…warn.

Our pastor today said that “Love that cares nothing for the moral character of the object is not love but hate.”

In Proverbs we find the verse “all the ways of man is right in his own eyes”

Johnathan Cahn states “beware the good Nazi” Do you think the Nazis saw themselves as evil. No. They judged themselves by their own standards. You can never judge yourself by your own standard, your own righteousness.

Today, in America, we are trying to be “the good American” Now don’t get me wrong here. We are not Nazis…that is not my implication. But when we judge ourselves without the guidance of God, I believe we are on the road to self destruction.

God is love but He must also judge evil.

Can one repent of evil and be saved by God…yes. Love is hope in something more than ourselves. It is hope in the One(GOD) who loved us so much that he died for all our sins. We have hope in our eternal life through him.

But the flip side is where we as a nation are in trouble.

In Isaiah 5:20-21 it states: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight.”

When one openly flaunts their sin in the face of God and rebels against His precepts, His laws, that person or nation is in trouble. God loves and He has given a way out for man through his Son, Jesus Christ. But if man shakes his fist at God and says “I will live as I choose and God be gone” Well, woe unto him or the people who do so.

Welcome to modern day America.

I will write more on this subject later.
