Richland Township

Dear Editor,

My name is Donald Stephens and I have been one of your trustees for the past 10 years. I am once again running for this position to remain your trustee. Over the past 10 years, I have listened to all of the problems that were brought to my attention concerning our township. To the best of my ability, I have tried to get the problems solved, but it does take two out of the three trustee’s votes for anything to get accomplished.

I have attended every State Township Conference to learn any new procedures and policies that has been put into effect, so that our township is ran the proper and legal way. As our area continues to grow economically there will be more involvement with the township. You, the residents will need to have the right officials working for you to make sure that everything is done with your interest in mind. I AM THE CANDIDATE to continue this job.

I am dedicated 100 percent to this township, since I am retired from my job that I worked faithfully for 32 years. With all the attention that is being brought to the healthcare issue, I would like the voters to know that I DO NOT participate in the health insurance plan that is available to all the township employees and elected officials, which in turn saves the taxpayers $1,000’s of dollars. These savings can then be used for the road improvements or any other problems that may arise in the township.

I would appreciate your vote on Nov. 5 and look forward to continuing to serve you, the residents, of Richland Township.

Thank you.

Donald Stephens
