Trooper Thanks

Dear Editor,

We would like to take this opportunity to “Thank” everyone who took the time to remember all of the special kids in the Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital this Christmas. Because of the generosity of so many special people and despite the shortened Christmas Holiday Season, all expectations were remarkably exceeded. We wish it were possible to thank everyone individually. While that is not possible, we would like to extend to each of you our sincere gratitude not only from us, but from the entire staff of the hospital’s Child Life Department. We can also assure all of you that the families of these children were very grateful.

We would also like to extend a very appreciative “Thank You” to Whiteside Chevrolet, St. Clairsville, for donating the box truck used to deliver the toys. Without your assistance, it would have been difficult to make this happen.

Ed and I would like to extend God’s Blessings to each of you for keeping the true meaning of Christmas alive by remembering these brave and special children.
