Fresh Start

To the Editor:

As a retired ORMET worker let me begin by saying how excited I am that the old plant just got purchased. Watching and reading the news of the sale, I saw that the president of the company that bought ORMET said that creating jobs and supporting the community was in the plans for Niagara Worldwide. I’m hoping that this would indicate that we can count on these jobs for generations to come.

At 6 o’clock Saturday evening when I turned on NEWS9, I was also excited to see Ron Ferguson, my grandson and a candidate for State Representative, standing up for the community and it’s people. It’s a pleasure to see fresh faces in our political process! As an ORMET retiree and registered Democrat, I always look for candidates that will stand up for the working man.

Now Ron comes from a long heritage of steel workers and coal miners and I know that his focus is always on bringing higher paying, longer lasting industry jobs back to Eastern Ohio. On Nov. 4th I will be voting for Ron Ferguson, and I humbly ask that you do the same!
